This modern contemporary finished house needed the grounds completely remodelling. New fencing was installed surrounding the property: approximately 150m of close board and feather edge fencing, with a feature glass fence system over looking a lake.
A new, extensive lawn was laid to give an instant affect. Natural Stone paving was supplied and laid in a contemporary pattern to match the inside of the tile finish. Lighting ducts and drainage were installed around the house and trenches for water, electrics, drainage and gas were excavated and pipe work laid. Aco drains were used to take away surface water.
After the site was cleared of builders, a tarmac drive with block paving edges was installed along with driveway lights and electric gate. The clients were keen to install a large vegetable plot using reclaimed sleepers and imported top grade soil. This was the surrounded by a low level decorative fence and gates.
To keep a great view from the house, a gabion basket wall was built using 60 tons of gabion stone meticulously placed to create a stunning feature. This was secured with a glass fence to maximise the gorgeous views over the lake.
A sunken Jacuzzi with a hard wood decking surround was installed. Also, a play area was established with a sunken trampoline and large climbing frames and swings. This was finished with play bark for safety and easy maintenance.
